I've had one of Top Flight's front plate mount kits on my '12 Z06 for about 8 months and it's been great. When I don't want the plate, I just reach under the front end, unscrew the wing nuts and take the plate off.

When I need it on, it take about 45 seconds to put it back in place.

Neat product!

I looked over the paperwork for the car it's actually Midnight Racer Blue. Does this holder come with everything I need to mount it to the front of the car?

Hi Joe, you would need to order the front license plate bracket p/n 0010003-3 which comes with all the necessary hardware and the optional Nite Race Blue frame, both are in stock

Hi Peter, thanks for the information I'm trying to locate part numbers on your website any way you can provide the link to this item?

Correction, I found the item with that part number but I can't choose a color only option is to add to cart.

Hi Joe, there isn't a color option for the license plate bracket, the Nite Race Blue colored frame is an additional part

I have been using this system to run a front plate for the last two years on my C6Z06 and there is one drawback.
I was driving around town last week and noticed that in this 100* weather my water temps were between 220-225* (this was just normal traffic and not bumper-to-bumper, stop and go).

I stopped to fill up with gas and removed the plate using the quick release function. I went back to driving and my temps promptly came down and stabilized around 196*.

I guess that I may have to run plateless until Fall.

The car has been modded but has the enlarged capacity DeWitt radiator with a 160* stat and reprogrammed fan.

I will continue to use the system and run the plate when the weather allows.

You had the bracket on for two years and you just noticed the problem now? Maybe it was something else....I have the same bracket on my 427 Convertible and have never had a problem with the temp and my car is all factory stock, no mods
