Which speed bleeders? (Dupe?)

I have done the searching, but I swear I saw this thread before. I just can't seem to pull it up though.

It appears speedbleeder.com is the place to buy the real speed bleeders from, but on C5 front brakes it lists SB1010 for 84-97s and SB1010s for 98-05...?

So which ones do C5 front calipers use?

It lists the:

SB1010 at M10 x 1.0 x 34.44
SB1010S at M10 x 1.0 x 31.35

I'll be buying them for C5 front calipers and C4 rear calipers. They all use the same thread I just don't get why there is a difference between 97 - 98? I thought the calipers were all the same?
:bigears
TIA

GIve them a buzz they answer the phone. SB1010 is what I got. There was a choice between metric or SAE sizes at one time for the wrench size. Price was difference because of material stock cost.

:toetap: Yup... Speed bleeders for the C-5 were available in both Metric & SAE... turned into a "Pain in the A$$" !!!

Had to go & buy an additional SAE 6 point wrench.:leaving:

Maybe the S means SAE...???
Still it has a different lenght reach...

I'll let you guys know what I hear.

The c5 caliper uses the SB1010S. The S is for Short. The c5 speed bleeders are shorter than the regular SB1010. The SB1010 fits on the rear C4 caliper. Hope this helps.

the SB1010 will work, but it does stick up a bit. 5-6 threads showing at the top, but it's functional.
