One quote from Karmanous that they didn't print had to do with his Stanley Cup winning Hockey team Carolina Hurricanes's facility. He said they were approached by a Japanese car company to "sponsor" the facility and his answer to them was " It will be a cold day in hell"

That got the biggest round of applause of any remark made all day.

would have been great to have a sound clip from downtown :flag:

For those that have not seen, a semi official Corvette Racing site can be found here:

Since I live in Raleigh and I'm a hockey fan I have to say I've been impressed with how he has built the Canes organization. Obviously he did something right since they won the Stanley Cup. He gets way more mileage advertising for Compuware with the Corvette Racing Team than he does with hockey. You know he's got to be a die hard sports fan at heart. And the comment to the Japanese was funny as hell. The press here was really careful not to make much out of that being PC and all.
