Got my New CE Hood Insulator from Fast Vette Accessories (pictures)
 

While I was up at National Corvette Homecoming One of the Vendors happen to be Fast Vette Accessories which is the only outside rep allowed to sell Car Motorsports products. They just happen to have the Hood Insulator for the 2004 CE in stock. Once I saw it in person I had to have it, The quality is top notch. :thumbs: Jim and his wife from Fast Vette Accessories are really nice folks; I enjoyed talking with them as well. Here is a few pictures after I got it home and installed.. While I was doing that I put another coat of NXT :D on getting ready for show. :cheers:

Yeah, the insulator is nice! I also have to say..CONGRATS to that engine bay...what do you do to get it THAT clean??

Think I just spotted the next mod for my CE!! If you don't mind me asking, what kind of pricing are we looking at?

Very, very nice. My grand-daughter painted mine. It doesn't look as good as yours but it's got the "memory" factor. I might swap it for one like your when she's not looking.:D

Wow that is one clean looking Insulator. Im new to the world of mod's and show cars but how long does it take when cleaning to get your engine so spotless ?

Well, Mine just goes out on nice days and a weekend car so it not to bad. I just detailed a friend of mine C5 for a show and I had 8 hours in the motor and 40 + in the whole car.:crazy: It looked as good as mine when I was done.

Nice hood insulator! A little off topic, but where did you get that "LS1" throttle body plate? I'd like to get an "LS6" plate.
