Here you go. It fits under my L-88 hood with about two inches to spare, but wouldn't fit my stock small block hood. Yes - EFI... :)

Not a c3 but here are some pictures of my c2. It is a 433 with Edelbrock RP heads, a solid roller cam with reversed firing order for 4 / 7, and a 6-71 blower with twin 850 DP carbs. The CR is 7.5 to 1 and I am running 10 PSI of boost on pump gas.

Anyone install the 142 for Vortec heads and keep it under the hood?

No roots type blower with carb will fit under the hood ,stock anyway.You would probably need a 8 inch or more hood scoop.
