Sorry, i will have to back out on the shocks, I thought they were penske's, just re-read the post and saw they are koni's.

what's teh scoop on the shocks? how old? how do they compare to others? I have bilstein sports now and am happy, would yours be good/better for road course?

A few of the top SS Z06 drivers, over the last couple of years, have sworn by the Koni 3013 SA shock. New they are about $900/set. If I was going to buy shocks for my Z06, and didn't want to get into the whole deal (and $$$$) of custom valving a set of 2812 Konis or 8011 Penskes, I'd give them a try.

And, no, I'm not getting paid for this "advertisement";) :lol:

The sixth (Dixon) and ninth (Losert) place place Z06s at last week's SCCA Solo Nationals (two of the top four Vettes) were on 3013s.

FYI... These are the same set of Koni's that came off of Pat Salerno's Z06 that ran nationals in 2005. I bought them from Pat and ran 3 events before I sold the car. They are almost new.
