Experience with StoneShield paint protection?

StoneShield clear paint protection material is supposed to be slightly thinner than 3M material, easier to work with but just as durable. Anyone have any experience with it?

I'm having "Venture Shield" installed....which I understood to be the only competative alternate to the 3M product. Do you suppose it's the same as what your calling "Stoneshield"????

Thanks for the info. I will check to see if these two products are related.

3M makes a lot of the film's ... brands are probably just different thicknesses.

3m standard paint protecion is 8mil. All manufacturers are about the same. The differece is the adhesive and top coats. Its 3M, Avery, and Venture tape as the films and various companies providing the patterns.

Cool. I'm VERY happy with the look of the Venture Shield on the dark (LMB) car. Better than I had hoped for.....and I'm working with a guy who is willing to improve upon the mfg template and do it until it is right!
