FS - Edelbrock #6085/87 Heads, pair.

I have a set of Edelbrock heads I'm interested in selling. I believe they're either the 6085's or 87's (centerbolt v/c's), perfect for late model (C4) engines. I do have roller self-align rockers also, checking to see if I can use w/new heads otherwise they will be part of sale. Just bought a set of AFR heads for my ever changing project. 6085 and 87's are the same execpt the center intake bolt holes are slighlty different angles but can usually be modified for either. These have not been modified, just my etch-a-sketch memory is kicking in right now and can't remember which part number these are.

I normally post in the C3 section but will check back here or PM me if interested. I will post pictures, currently they're bolted on, have low dyno hours - used for gasket fit test from a few years ago.

Any interest?

Thanks,
Later.

price?

For what its worth, I had these heads on an L98 and was very happy with them. The casting quality on the Edelbrock heads is second to none!

Sorry folks haven't been on the site for awhile, busy at work. My new heads just showed up and I was trying to check with manufacturer to see if the self-align roller rockers would still work for me. Otherwise I would sell with heads as a package. Plus also checking the Edelbrock Q-jet manifold to see if it would fit the new heads, that too would have to go.

Need a little more time to verify but I believe they're 6087's which have the '87 up intake center 2 bolt angle change. No big deal, lot's of tricks to use with either pattern so would still be able to use with TPI's etc.

Will check and report,

Thanks

I finally have the heads and Edelbrock #3706 intake (Q-jet style) available if anyone's interested. Took me awhile but their off and the new hardware is finally bolted on, just haven't had time to prep everything else to start it yet.

Only the (2) heads and intake are for sale, I was able to reuse the rockers and other hardware. See above posts for additional info.

New these are $625 ea, intake is $150, for a total of $1400.

Price for all three items is $850 + shipping and I should have two #1003 FP head gaskets ($25 ea) and maybe an intake set to throw in as part of the install. Savings of $600 overall (head gaskets included).

PM in your inbox...

Still interested and will be contacting Edelbrock to verify if these will work with Superram I have purchased, unless anybody here can tell me if it will work for my 85 L98 ???

GasketDude, can you also give me any other info and larger pics on them please.

Regards,
Steve
