Part 9, that you are reading now, will show how to build and install dual rear transmission coolers. I will be offering this custom mod for sale very soon.

Parts 10, 11, 12, 13 etc. I will reveal as time goes on. This project will stretch for several more months – at least until April 2007. The goal is to be ready for Cruise In VIII.

Some background information : since I am running a high stall torque converter (Yank SS3600), a Stage 5 RPM 4L60E transmission, 3.90:1 gears, a ratchet shifter and circa 800rwhp, I thought it prudent to beef up my transmission cooling system. I previously had a single transmission cooler but have wanted to run duals for about a year now. However, never one do what others have done, I wanted the duals in the rear of the car.

These will be 2 x 13inch temperature controller coolers with fans. A few modifications will have to be done to get this system to work. As I said above, I will be offering this kit for sale very soon.

I was suffering serious Grond withdrawls waiting impatiently for part 9...wake up this morning and low-n-behold it just happened to be the very first thread. :party:

Though I have to admit I was a bit surprised to see only a few pics when compared to Parts 1-8 that had atleast six or seven pics per post.
