just finnished repairing brokenup panels on my 72 i fitted rear bumpers on, side markers ,ect, sanded down [ to bare glass] rear tail panel, left rear quarter,left side door not original paint, r/s 1/2 quarter where it was fixed getting ready to epoxy prime dplf48 white how long can i leave it in sealer stage, i still have to put firewall together and install nose figure 2 months or so i was told i have to seal whole panel so i figure i;ll do everything except roof and rear deck for now , panels were sanded and blocked with 240 ,thanks artie

DPLF has a 7 day window to topcoat without sanding. You can exceed 7 days while you work on other parts, but you will need to clean the DPLF, sand it, clean it again and recoat with one coat of DPLF. Buy the smallest cans of hardener so that the open shelf life doesn't expire and you'll reduce waste and $$$.
