Ceramic coating?

Anyone know of a company that does ceramic coatings on headers? Would like to coat new headers before installing. I live in Northeast Ohio but local is not a must....Thanks!!!

Most use Jet-Hot for coating www.jet-hot.com I just had Tybrne send em there for coating after I purchased my Kooks from them, then Jet Hot shipped the headers to me direct. I'm sure most header venders offer the same service.

I'd suggest Swain Tech, they're in SW NY state and their coating reduces heat. Give them a call, you won't be disappointed.

WARNING!!!

Listen up guys..... BE SURE TO REMOVE THE CERAMIC COATING FROM THE MATING SURFACES AT THE COLLECTOR IF YOU HAVE KOOKS HEADERS!!!

I have ceramic coated KooK's which uses a bell shaped flange to mate the x-pipe to the header. I've just tried to remove the x-pipe and found it to be impossible. A rubber mallet won't do the job. :smash:

I am very happy with the quality of the coating and the quality of the headers, but I'm just trying to help other from making the same mistake.
