Nice car... but...

My hat is off to the engineering department... however... the cars styling has yet to grow on me...

What do you think we could do with a ZR-1 and a $130,000 ? Or, said another way, 1/10 the cost ?

The Buggati is to complex... A F1 Mc Laren would be a much better choice imho... and it weighs almost 2000 lbs less and holds 3 people... as in a babe on each side !

I have lusted over the McLaren since they were first released.
At a cool $1M dollars each, I'd need to win the lottery just to buy insurance for it.
*sigh*

Butt ugly at any speed.

Looks like a 350Z with an old Alfa grill.

Read the history, read about Callaway sledgehammer C4 Chassi as Zr1 chassi,:willy: Still Buggati didnt break the Callaway Sledg. 350 cid :D , and only 2 turbo Top speed record> 254.76 MPH!!.. which i am sure if callaway wanted beyond this speed thEY could done it:cool: and it was GM block not even Mercury LT5 !
from my side, i will TAke Sled.callaway C4 not Buggati . SORRY!

:iagree: The Bugatti is an expression of a singular accomplishment (top speed). The F1 is an expression of overall performance.

I think Jay Leno once made a statement comparing the McLaren F1 to a gymnast, and the Bugatti to a girl with big boobs.

I'm with you Tom, I still have the Autoweek, C&D, and MT magazines from the early 90's with that bad boy featured....that, the F40, and the ZR-1 were my dream rides...with the F1 at the top of the list.

Mikey, if you ever get out here to the boonies I can show you several stretches of road to get your ya ya's out...it's even better further West and North. If only Sturgis had a ZR-1/vette week.:willy:
