They look nice, not sure about the price... Paid $50 for a set of the Pipe Dreams(front/rear)... Maybe as a Christmas present to myself/ my C6!? Depends on if she's naughty or nice this year? ;~)

You've been mooned! ;~)

do the tires need to be removed to install and do you need to lift the car or can this all be done on the ground? Can you attach a pic of where the hole needs to be drilled and a few close ups of you product on the car so we can see the fit?

JVM225 04-08-2007 12:15 PM

They look great; but 500 bucks for mud flaps? Whoa!

Dude, great product but are you out of your mind for that price?? I doubt that I will be purchasing anything plastic for that ammount of cash. Again nice prduct, but you need to rethink your prices. If thats just for the raw plastic ones, how much are the CF ones....$1000??? Goodluck. I would pay $100 for a set of two, but even thats pushing it.

Nice product, but at a buck and a quarter per wheel I'll get out my utility knife and Dremel.

50MileSmile 04-08-2007 12:27 PM

Cool product – outrageous price!

Compare these two pictures the top is the Apis the bottom an original Z06 modified to fit the C6. The Apis looks too thick and clunky stands out from the fender too far in my opinion, plus $500 for a complete set they gotta be     , but if they cut the profile down and cut the price to $175 a set each front and back or $300 for both then I would consider.

Tom_Slick 04-08-2007 12:38 PM

Any chance of that being a typo? LOL

Maybe GM had something to do with that... Ever hear of licensing? Companies like Apple(iPod) and GM charge third party venders for the right to sell accessories for their products! Maybe an exact duplicate wasn't allowed? They already have a deal with a supplier making these to fit the Z06!

Good luck with the parts. Nice choice for the "not so handy" do it yourselfer.

Unfortunately, with the cost of tooling up a venture like this (new molds are not cheap) and them being a direct fit the cost is often prohibitive in a limited production market like the C6.
