capacitor on voltage regulator and generator.

I have two capacitors for the gen and voltage regulator. Where do these things hook up to? I didnt pull the electrical system out and dont have anouther car to compair to. Thanks. P.S. I dont even know if they are actually capacitors or something for noise filtering?

The capacitors are for radio interference suppression. The generator one is connected to the armature side of the generator. The coil one is connected to the + side of the coil.

The one for the voltage regulator connects to the "BAT" terminal; the one on the generator looks like the photo below. You'll find all of them (there are more) illustrated in the Radio option section of your Assembly Manual.

As a follow up, where can you buy these capacitors. I just had my Wonderbar restored but all the capacitors are missing on my car.

Thanks,
Bill

Corvette Central has a fairly good selection of them for C2's. Only thing is, they are $25 each......and up.
