2002 Built Motor'd Black on Black Nitrous Z06 FS or Trade

Update 07/18/07:Back up for sale. The car has a brand new Textralia Exo-skell(with new slave and master, etc) and runs perfectly. Let me know if you're interested! Entertaining reasonable offers.

If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM or send me an email to hydroshutter@aol.com $36,000 If you don't like my price, please don't bash it in this thread; send me a PM if you want to work something out. This car has roughly $50,000 in modifications, and around 32,000 miles. I miss my bolt on Electron Blue Z06 so much, I'd trade straight up for one; heck, even a stock one.

Here are a few specifications of the car and pictures, send me an email/pm for complete modlist and pictures. I had this car shipped to me from Oregon to Georgia on an 18wheeler. I haven't sprayed the car (440rwhp is enough for me), but I have had the car tuned for perfect driveability on 93 Octane here in Georgia. The car came with a tune for 91, so I had the car retuned and now it purs like a kitten. I had the car inspected by a local LSx shop for failures and nothing was needed except basic maintenance. The car will make 440rwhp off the nitrous with the all-motor tune and I can have an HP Tuner software kit included with the car for a little extra money. This software is used to hold the tunes and monitor anything and everything to do with the car.

-Built motor for Nitrous (Pistons, Rods, etc..completely built)
***Motor is capable of a 300shot safely!***
-- Built in Radar K40 system (in dash) with Laser Diffuser
- Sparco Tourino Black/Black racing seats (Extremely Comfortable, and slide on rails/recline)
- 5 point IMPACT Camlock Harness
- TNT Nitrous Kit with 200Shot Jetting
- Window tinting – Limo
- RSI floor mats
- Crossbar with Camcorder/Camera mount
- KDW2’s 275/18’s and 295/19’s on C6 Z06 black with machined face wheels (~2000miles on these)
- Window tinting – Limo
- Frame savers
- Chrome Corsa TigerShark exhaust
- Lowered
- Ported and Polished Cylinder Heads
- Lifters, Rocker arms
- Corvette Crane 1.7 Gold Rocker Arms
- Custom Ferrea Valves, Cam bearings, clevite main, and rod
- Line Hone block
- Custom Pistons with Spiro Locks, straight Wall Pin, Ring set, pin fit and double pin oilers
- Roll master Double Roller Timing Chain
- Vararam Air Induction system (Carbon Fiber)
- Rebuilt T-56 Transmission to handle 900hp
- QA1 fully adjustable shocks on all 4 wheels
- LSX Manifold (FAST) for 90 MM throttle body
- 90 MM NICK WILLIAMS throttle body for FAST intake
- Custom Camshaft on XER Lobe Seperation 232/236 @ 112 LSA
- Competition Porting/LS6 Race Port Conversion
- Kooks Mid-pipe
- Kooks 1 7/8 Race Headers
- B&M Short throw ripper shifter
- Eradispeed rotors (drilled and slotted)
- Brand new Hawk Pads
*Bonus: The car has a Race Gas tank with dedicated fuel system in front for the Nitrous system. This tank and fuel system acts as a second tank so you don't have to fill your primary tank full of expensive race gas.*

I'd be willing to take any picture of a specific angle if someone would like, just let me know. I bought the car sight-unseen and have been happy with the car, but my plans/priorities change drastically being in school and felt going a new route with a new car would be best. Thanks for looking

 My old car on the for sale block again :(

This car runs very very strong guys and I never sprayed the NOS ever too...the 440rwhp is plenty but with the 200 shot of NOS it will be ~ 620rwhp.

Don't be afraid of the NOS because this motor and tranny (all parts) was built for it and you could spray all you want and it will hold up. Heck you can go up to a 300 shot and have even more fun, but I never needed it so I never used it. This is a great modified Z06 and the paint shines like no other :D

Good Luck on the sale and post some sound clips of the exhaust

fyi...I only sold it to get my current C6

Thanks Travis.

Since this is a TNT Nitrous Kit, the gains on 103-104octane should net the new owner in the 650rwhp/700+rwtq range on the 200shot.

NOS is a brand or a ricer term from a ricer movie... :willy:

Car looks good, good luck with the sale!

Any pictures of the dual fuel tank setup?

hydroshutter 05-29-2007 10:52 PM

I'd be happy to take some and post them up here. I don't believe I have any. In the meantime, picture a small aluminum tank tucked up in the front with a coffee-cup size opening in red.

Here's a photo from last fall of the fuel cell...pictured in the front right side

Jeff!! Dude!!

I bought Jeff's bolt-on EB Z06, and can honestly say that he doesn't mis-represent his items for sale in the least. If this car looks as good as the EB car did, someone will be a VERY happy buyer.

bumpity bump

What compression is the motor with the heads and pistons it has? Also it *could* go 300 shot but whats the tuning on the car? How is the idle?

Also how is the separate tank switched to? And is there a low gas alert? I have no clue how fast the tank would run dry or if you could even floor it long enough to worry about it.

Thanks for answering the questions!

hydroshutter 05-31-2007 05:56 PM

The compression should be stock or close to stock; it doesn't have crazy compression or anything like that.

I'm anal about my cars, so I'd probably check the race gas res. if I were to be running the nitrous with the race gas tank. If memory serves me right, the tank is roughly two gallons. Maybe check it inbetween runs?

The car isn't tuned for nitrous, so a tune would have to be performed. I had the car tuned for a safe and slightly richer so I could drive the car around and take advantage of it's n/a capabilities. The race gas tank is setup to switch over once the nitrous system is armed. The tank in the front has it's own independent fuel pump. The car is very smooth with a very slight shake from the mild cam it has, but nothing obnoxious. Please let me know if you have any other questions and I'll do my best to answer them as accurately as possible.

So it needs a new nitrous tune with the HP tuner software performed if/when it is purchased?

hydroshutter 05-31-2007 06:11 PM

I can include the HPTuner software (wouldn't have to wait on it to be shipped) if you need it to tune with.

In essence, $400 or so bucks for a tune, a bottle full of nitrous, and some 104octane and you can run some nitrous through it.

Do you know who sells your wheels?

My buddy is trying to pickup a set for his black Z06.
