A 77 with a seat preference question?
 

My 77 has 78/79 style seats in it.
Should I keep them becaue they are more comfortable or head to the vette junkyard and take a chance finding a more year correct???
Either way I have to get them redone and I don't care that they are a different year style.

If you don't care that they aren't factory correct, why are you asking?

If you dont care about originality, and think the later seats are more comfortable- then you just answered your own question. Forget looking for 77 seats.

But I don't know if they are more comfortable than the originals?

If you do any "spirited" driving the later seats are the way to go. If your a really big guy, they could be uncomfortable. Unless your car has 17 original miles on it, which seat you pick won't matter $1 at resale time. (If a buyer wants to make an issue out of it, thank him for his time and close the door on him). /:\

I have a pair of each; the split back seats in my '80 are more comfortable on a road trip than those in the '68.

The 68-77 seats have zero support...end of story.

I hated the seats in my '77 but if you want them I would make you a heck of a deal.
