Twin Turbo Ls1 Chevelle For Sale...pics!!

I listed this with the C5's because it has many C5 components...

Do you want a car that will smoke anything on the road for far less then a new ZO6? Over 800 RWHP!!! Do you want a car that goes up in value and not down? I have a car for you!!

I am selling my 1971 TWIN TURBO CHEVELLE! The car was April 2007 Popular Hot Rodding magazine feature car!! This car attracts MAJOR attention at shows, you don’t see twin turbos very often!

This car was built to drive, It's built to be an every day driver, and gets driven. It is not a trailer car or show queen, It
is a nice all around car that is a serious performer! This car runs even better then it looks. It has an all
aluminum LS1 engine and 6 speed manual transmission that allows lightning fast shifts,
it idles smooth and quiet at only 750 rpm!

This is NOT the average car you see with a few accessories slapped on and called a performance car, this is the real deal! All I can say that is 100% factual about performanceis the car will out accelerate ANYTHING on the road(Except maybe a Busa), Go’s 10’s without breaking a sweat at part throttle, handles better then my Audi A6 sport twin turbo, and will stop on a dime. Show me a “Muscle” car that does all that!!

I WILL CONSIDER PARTIAL TRADES, ASKING $55K

Ever wonder what it would be like to own a turbo car???

How turbo power works!

First off, this car starts and drives just like any regular new car, until you want to go fast!

Turbo power is not what most people are used to. It is not loud,
glugy, violent or gas guzzling. The motor is very quiet and smooth, it is the
quietest muscle car in town.

The power comes on based on load, example:

If you are cruising along, you are just putting around with a quiet reliable 8:1
compression 5.7 liter engine just like every new C5 on the streets. The car only uses just the power it needs
to keep moving along. This gives you great mileage and reliability, you would think it was bone stock. When you start to push hard on the gas pedal the power rises, the faster you
push the pedal down the faster the power rises, if you mash it, you have
instant full power.

Can I adjust the power?

Sure can! Boost is adjustable digitally at your fingertips. This makes the
full power setting more controllable when you are trying to go fast
quickly. Boost control is preset electronically, or, it can be adjusted
to suit your needs. Again, boost is adjustable from 600 hp to 1000 hp on
93 octane. Sky is the limit with race gas, I could not even imagine!

This is not a racecar(although it could be with different wheels and tires), it is a state of the art street machine. There is no tuning, or upkeep needed for this car, just turn the key and go, just like your everyday driver!

Car has had a complete frame off restoration and is not
driven in rain or snow. I keep in stored indoors whenever it is not
driven. The car is nice, but not flawless, I DRIVE IT! In fact, I have
to try not to drive it, it’s way too much fun!

What does the car weigh in it's current trim that you have advertised??? I'm guessing you would have had it on the scales at some point if you were making 10sec ET's under part throttle...???

nitrorocket 06-07-2007 08:38 PM

The car weighs about 3550-3600 lbs right now. The car is running 19 psi on max boost and went 10.80@130 mph on only 10 psi. It has yet to make a full run as it sits at 19 psi. I made a pass with 18 psi and it hit the rev limiter at the 1000' mark(3.42 gear), I have it on video. I let off and coasted to a 10.50@138 mph, I have the vids and time slips. Right now with a full pass(3.08 gear now) the car should do about 10.0'ish at 145+ mph no problem. All on only 93 octane!!! You don't see that very often.:D

Mudvayne387 06-07-2007 09:41 PM

Off topic but was this car on www.racingjunk.com some time ago ? if so , it looked like an awesome machine then , and does now ! good luck

nitrorocket 06-07-2007 10:58 PM

Not like theres a milion out there that do it. I am not saying this car is better oir faster then anybody elses mod ride, but is is insanely fast.
To be able to dip into the 9's on radials, in full road race trim (no drag shocks springs or slicks) with stock cubes and 93 octane is fairly rare.

I only run this car to 6000 rpm and it has a baby cam, pretty sleeperish.:)

Thanks for the compliments guys.

C'mon now. It's fairly simple to get 9s out of street C5s at over 3300 lbs. on pump gas. No disrespect to your ride and I'm VERY partial to twin turbo cars but let's keep it real.

MIKE-C5 06-19-2007 01:07 PM

TT Chevelle

Thats a beauty! ! I bet its a blast to drive

nitrorocket 06-19-2007 09:37 PM

Thanks guys, yes it is a super blast to drive.

1 BAD BURB, Are you talking striaght up??

What is your car valued at??

P.M. me.

exploder 06-20-2007 04:15 PM

Would you be willing to take 40k for the whole thing?

nitrorocket 06-20-2007 10:28 PM

I would not take a penny less then $50K. I have no need to sell it except for that I am somewhat bored with it. If it does not sell, I will just keep it and continue on with the roadracing goal.

The car also has an appraisel with a much higher value then that. This means new owner can finance the car and also have it insured to cover replacement value in the case of a loss.:)
