99 and 2000 then the Z06 came out in 01.

1999 was the first year of the FRC. No A4's available, it was designed to be an autocross car.

:yesnod: You are correct sir :yesnod: '99 was first one since '67 as I recall.
FRC's came with MN6's only and include Z51 suspension and 3:42 gears. Limited option list too. More of the "Meat-Eater" approach.

Really considered it, but it did not come with the A4. They were inexpensive at $38,320 base msrp.

Yes, but if you optioned it up, it was comparable to a comparably equipped coupe. MSRP on my 2000 was $43,709 - that's with essentially every option except the magnesium wheels.
