you should con a US member over here in to purchacing a set of drag radials for you and shipping them over to you. man thats alot of wheel spin.

quick question for your car, did you add any sort of chassi stiffineng devices, like a roll bar or roll cage? I would imagine that your making alot more power now, the chassis could possibly benifit from stiffining in some ways? maby help plant the rear tires harder or something to that effect.?

I have a pair of DOT drag ralials now, but nowhere to test them. The next event on the track is next spring.

The chassis and suspension is all stock. I have bought a set of energy suspernsion bushings to replace the old cracked rubber ones.

JOBy, can I ask you some questions about modifing my crossfire throttle boddies to accept positive preassure ( supercharging ) and also about the fuel supply and electronics that need to be changed to suit the application of supercharging's fuel demands?

So the real question is how long is the line for odering a JoBy Kit :D

I drove the Corvette over 110 miles (one way) to a test and tune avent. It was my only chanse to test my new Hoosier Drag Radials (dot) before the winter.

First run with 18 psi in the tires.
60" 1.82 sec, ET 11.24 sec med 122 mph trap speed.

I went from mid 13 to low 11 with only new tires!!!

Second run with 14 psi in the tires.
60" 1.72 sec, ET 11.14 sec med 126.6 mph trap speed.

Third run was another 11.14 sec.

I ran three more runs but no more ET improvement.
I got my best trap speed on the 5th run. With a better 60" that could have been a high 10.
60" 2.04 sec, ET 11.45 sek, 131 mph trap speed.

It is not every day you improve you personal best with over 2.3 seconds.

I am still using the stock block with stock crank, stock rods and stock pistons. The 4L80E shifts at 5300 rpm and that is problably what saves the stock parts.

That's very impressive with a stock bottom end. :cheers:

Well, this was not a very big event. It was only for street legal cars, most of them daily drivers.

The 'race track' is a part of a public road that used to be a 'secret' military air strip camouflaged as an ordinary road. There were no preparation of the track, just plain tarmac.

There were not much spectators there, most of them knew someone driving. My guess is about a 100 people, and all of them were close to the start. The spectator area started on one side behind the track as you see in the picture. After the starting line there were more than 60" to the spectators and the distance increased.

What ECM are you using? Stock or aftermarket? Just curious what you are using to control everything.

I use a Haltech E6K to control fuel and spark and a TCI T-Com to control the 4L80E translission.

I just got back from the dyno shop.

I went there last year before the turbo and then it looked like this:

230 rwhp between 5000 rpm and 5500 rpm.
360 Nm ( 265 lbs-ft ) at 3500 rpm.

And today ...

627 rwhp at 4200 rpm.
1086 Nm ( 801 lbs-ft ) at 4000 rpm.

For some reson it does not hold boost at higher RPM. Peak boost is 1.3 bar (19psi) at 3900 rpm and drops to 0.9 bar (13psi) at 5000 rpm

I just want to make sure I've got this right...

You more than doubled your horsepower on a stock system by bolting on a turbo at 20psi. Changing your torque converter, and upgrading your ECM? All internal engine components are stock? No worries of over compression/detonation?
