19" Track Tires - do they exist?
I'm looking to keep my staggered set up on my C6 with 18" upfront and 19" in the back with at least 285's.
The problem...I can't find a set of 19" competition tires for road courses, especially one that fits on a stock size 19X10 wheel. Anybody got any recomendations? Next question...if 19"'s are hard to find and/or too expensive, what size and set up is most commonly run for the C6 (nonZ06)????? Help. Thanks. |
I'd like to know also.

Hoosier makes the R6 for road course, and the A6 for autocross for 19" wheels. You can find them at TireRack.com. Good luck.

I have a C6 Z06 and run Hossier 18 front and 19 rear; but I know a lot of guys who have C6s, both regular or Z06, run 18 all around because you have a lot more options. It's cheaper in the long run; but you have to get new wheels up front.

Toyo R888s have a 295/30r19 rear now.

Anyone know where one can buy the Toyo R888's? Not finding them in a quick search.... |
CCW has the R888. http://www.ccwheel.com/ You'll probably have to call him for pricing.

Just checked the price on the Hoosiers...the difference between an 18' and 19' tire is about $12 per tire...not a huge difference.

I also run the stock size in Hoosier and they work great

QUOTE] It's cheaper in the long run because on size 18 you have less expensive options than Hoosier. Of course, cheaper it's not necesarily better. |
