Wow!
You captured everybody! Quite a task! :willy: Thanks for posting! Mike  |
Thanks for the kind words. I could not take any pictures of the people in the green group, that's when I was out on the track!
I can see where this could lead to an addiction! Man did I have a good time! |
great pictures

Cool pic's. You even got one of my car. That was a great day for the event. Too bad it rained the last session, but it did make things interesting.

What does your car look like? Are you able to download and get a decent copy? I'm not sure how my webmaster has that setup other than he puts a watermark on them.

Jason:
Were you parked right next to me in the pits? I remember talking to a guy with a white car like that. I think it had different wheels. If you were in my run group I would not have been able to get any picture of you out on the track, obviously. |
David,
Yeah that was me, I had the center fake knockoff's removed from the rims. I didn't ketch your name ... it was slightly hetic that day. How did you find time to take all those cool photos? Jason |

I've got a 'mentor' in Brazil that helped a lot with the track photos. (I've got some of his work on my website, Fabio) I was at Putnam Park last year when the Porsche Club was there. I 'talked' my way onto the track. I've got a few pictures from that shoot on my website. They didn't turn out as well as I would have liked. After sending them to Fabio he made some suggestions about camera settings. To get really, really good, just like driving, you have to shoot, shoot and shoot some more. When you track your car do you use street tires? I'll tell you one thing that car seemed to do a great job on the track. I think you told me that you've upgraded the suspension. Later, David |

Later, David Yeah, I've modified the suspension quite a bit. Took a lot of information from Greenwood, Guildstrand, and Herb Adams articles on these old cars. I figured why not follow the lead of the pro's  . I haven't done everything they recommend, and I've put my own take on a few of the upgrades to keep it more civilized for the street. But in general, I followed alot of their suggestions. |
