Many of us have had clutch issues and most of them can be traced back to the fluid. changing the fluid is very easy and if you live in a hot climate it is eavin more of a problem. Follow this link, Ranger is the raining expert here on clutches and racing.

Changing the clutch fluid is helpful (and worth a try) but unless you're just totally beating-up the car on the track I can't imagine 2 week old fluid would be the sole cause of this problem.

Obviously, something wasn't done or isn't being done correctly. If you experience the same failure after repeatedly replacing the pump, the source of the problem isn't being diagnosed correctly...don't blame the car.

I had a similar thing happen once when the car was a few weeks old. I was sitting at a stop light...I don't recall all the exact details, but I when the light went green the pedal just flopped to the floor... no resistance at all - car was still running fine.

Took it to the shop the next day, said something about a defective slave - but who knows what these guys really know. Took a week to get the new part, and supposedly they had to install a 2nd one.

It's been fine ever since...that was about a year+ ago.

I haven't been doing any extraordinary upkeep on the clutch fluid, just swapping out the resevoir occasionally.

Nothing chronic like what's happening here. Sorry, no help, just a similar one-time event.

well i figured that better then changing my c6 clutch to ram or what ever brand ,,, is to change it to Zo6 clutch ,,, much better ,,,
LS7 clutch is fine ,,
now i am back to my old used clutch set ( c6 )
and the master cylinder is fine ! even after i added the supercharge and i tuned it in dyno ! which we have done around 10 runs ,,
i am waiting for my order LS7 clutch and i will install it

so good luck for all of us :!

Just to recap...

You swapped in an aftermarket clutch... and then started having a bunch of problems... is this correct?

If so, please don't blame the car or blame GM.

Glad everything is ok now
