New car lasted 45 minutes need a few parts. :{

Yes that is right I bought the car at 9AM yesterday and have waited over a month for it. I took it to a really close buddy of mines house so he could check it out. He drove it all of 50 yards before we landed in a median with 3 wheels off the ground:rolleyes: Just my f*cking luck. The pass wheels are trashed, front bumper scratched, rear lower control arm bent, rear tie rod bent, and inner fender cover trashed. Since I already have a nw tigershark front, and wheels the damage is minimal. If this thing aligns I look at it as my buddy getting off easy. :yesnod:

Is he still a buddy?

teddyca 01-01-2008 01:10 PM

I have known the guy since we were 10. He is covering the damages. This car is not worth a close friend to me. Yes he is still my buddy:thumbs:

You really have bad luck. At least it happened in 2007. Hope 2008 will bring you better luck. :cheers:

To much power end of story. He was on it in first went to bang second with TC off and thats it. He feels like sh!t and is definately more upset then me. Things happen. Does anyone know where a parts car at a salvage yard is.

I love my all brothers and best friends, but unless they own a Corvette - they will never drive mine. We all know how easy it is for these cars to get away from us, but a non-owner has no idea.

Good luck with your repairs.

:rofl: Sounds like a fun time to me

Damn just ... damn

Friends can drive my car, so long as they have something comparable.

teddyca 01-01-2008 05:30 PM

Leason learned. Guess who is paying to have my new tigershark front bumper painted, and is buying me a set of black Z06 replicas.;)

Man that is WEAK!

My g/f's cousin loves my Z06, he says he wants one once he can afford it. Everytime we go to visit her family he's always bugging me to let him drive it. I tell him once he gets his, maybe. But until then no way, too much power. More than his 88 Audi :D

Hope you get it fixed soon man. :thumbs:
