Mechanic wanted in the Charlotte, NC area

I'm looking for a decent mechanic to work on my 77 coupe. Any recommendations ?

I have recently used Glenn Hughes at Hughes Automotive. 704-531-6277, 7116 Harrisburg Rd, on the recommendation of another member. He did some carb work and some interior troubleshooting and repair. Did a good job. He has two shops - one is for routine repair work, and he has another place (at his house I think) where he does just performance cars.

I drove almost an hour to get to his shop from Rock Hill, and would use him again!

Good Luck!

Bill

Glenn tuned up my '72. Very satisfied with the results and his interest in the old stuff. He's a hot rodder from the days of carbs and L-60s on a set of Cragars.

Ronnie Byrum - Byrum's Automotive in NW CHLT off Caldwell Williams Rd - multiple Vette owner and staff. Has worked on my '77 too

DUB is good too at Corvettes ETC. Also has experience with my '77
