O2 Sensors. Good, Better, Best?

I've seen ads for O2 Sensors that claim "Better than stock" or "Faster resopnse". Are there REALLY any aftermarket O2 sensors that are better than the factory ones. The plugs out of my LT4 just got changed due to Opti falure, and were really nasty! I'm thinking that the O2 sensors are probably covered in soot as well. Any user recomendations?

When I changed mine they were as you described, covered in soot pretty bad. I went with Denso and have been extremely happy with them. I noticed that my MPG went up but then again that would go up with any new O2 sensor regardless of the brand. I have been extremely happy with Denso products in the past so that is why I went with them.

I used Bosch. No issues with it.

I used Bosch just because that's what Advance Auto had. As long as you get the right type (heated vs non-heated) from a reputable brand (not crap), then I don't think it really matters.

Bosch is good, heated or not.FYI;www.TPiS.com.When you get on the site click on e-bay garage sale and they have them for $16.00.

I just ordered a Walker from oxygensensors.com they didn't have the denso in stock. This isn't for my vette tho.

What would make any O2 sensor better than another anyway?

Thanks for the link - I didn't need a sensor, but I did get a good price on the extension cable I needed
