Seat Removal Questions 1980
 

I bought new leather for the seats on my 80 and can't remember how to remove them from the plastic part. I tried pushing them down and back with no success I did not want to push to hard till I found out if this was correct or not, I am doing bottoms and backs. any suggestions. The seats are still in the car.

push from side to center on the back. the wire runs from top to bottom. get a screwdriver and press against the wire for best results with minimal damage to foam

The bottoms are easy once the backs are removed. Getting the backs IN is harder. :)
