Headlight adjustment tip (if your adjusters are broken)

If you've attempted to aim your headlights and managed to break off the adjuster (I've done this too) there's still a few ways to aim your headlights.

Option a)
If you still have part of the long metal adjuster showing, use a dremel cutoff wheel to cut a slot on the center of the tip for a flat head screwdriver. Spray the adjuster gears with PB blaster, W-40 or whatever lubricant you have at the time and you shold be able to to adjust them like normal

Option b)
If for some reason you don't have very much adjuster showing or if your adjuster gear has broken you can still aim your headlight....though it's a little more difficult and time consuming. First remove your headlight bucket, cover and reflector. You'll see on the adjusting screws that hold the reflector mounts, each of them have a torx 15 head. Use a set of vice grips to hold the healight adjusting rod (or what remains of it) in place while you manually move the adjusting screws with your torx 15. This may require a great deal of trial and error but it's much less expensive than a new headlight mount.
