Well I finally did it...Traded in the 2007 c6 for a 2008 Z06

Yep..I bought my first corvette in Oct 2006 at 24 years old...
a 2007 Silver c6 Coupe.
I absolutely loved this car and it was sooooo hard to trade it in but I had to do it. :(

and now in May 2008 at 26 years old I bought my black 2008 z06.

It comes with OEM z06 chrome wheels but I think I will be switching them out with OEM z06 Comp Gray's or an all black Z06 OEM wheel (powder-coated black)

Can't decide...

Well, at least that's an '07 to '08 trade that makes some sense. Congratulations on your new car and enjoy!

cool car, I wonder what does your age have anything to do with it?

Simple. I picked up on it right away.

What he is getting at is that life is entirely too short to kick tires.

If you see the car and you want it, go ahead and get it and get off the fence.

If a young man with several years of life left ahead of him can go ahead and pull the trigger on a Z06, then some of these older guys can too.

:D

Something to think about, isn't it? :D

I'm glad that this young man went ahead and bought that Z06 instead of hemming and hawing and wasting time.

Wish I could have done something similar when I was 26.

Now for rim choice...I'm still undecided...I love the look of the glossy black z06 wheels but I also love the comp gray's...

I like the glossy black rims. For some reason every time I see the comp grays they look to me like dirty regular rims covered in brake dust.

^ROCKSTAR^ 05-08-2008 01:50 AM

I'm kind of leaning towards the glossy black as well.

Thank you. I appreciate it.

I just need to now figure out which rims to get from bob at house of wheels.

You are not serious about that last sentence are you? If true, it makes you sound, well, kind of immature.
