sad news to report
 

well this is news that i did'nt want to report:sadangel:

my father passed away today at age 68. i got two calls from my mother and the hospital around noon time today. i'm still in shock that my father is gone! but he is in a better place. i went to go see him on sunday but saddly he was on morphine and in a deep sleep, from the looks of him i knew it was only a matter of time. i left the hospital and knew that his passing was not far away. he leaves me and my mom alot of memories..i knew i would have to go through this day someday but not this soon. my father had cancer for only a month. the doctor said it spread very quick and that there was nothing they could do. he was only in hospice for 4 days and he was gone:sadangel: thanks dad for giving me and my mother memories that i will never forget and may you be at peace where ever you are.

Eric, Sorry for your loss. I lost my dad at 69. He had some heart disease and his ticker just quit one day. Way too young. I miss him every day and its been 11 years. Just keep the good times in mind and smile when you think of him. Always Remember he wouldn't want you to be sad. Live your life and continue to make him proud.

My oldest daughter picked this saying out for the funeral cards when her little sister died:

Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears, but remember me, and laugh like I were beside you, 'Twas heaven here with you.
