New Garage Pics. "Nothing fancy here"

I used to keep the vette in the rear garage along with the Harleys (very tight fit)..So I decided to just add a 2 car garage to keep the vette and wife's car in. I use the rear garage for a workshop and to keep the bikes in now. Like I said, nothing fancy here (I've seen some of the other garages on the forum) but it will do!!!!

Is that garage IN your driveway?

St.Char 08-14-2008 10:42 PM

The best part of that garage is that you don't have a curb at the entry of your driveway. Now add some heat and a wide screen to it and you'll have a great place to spend some time detailing your Vette this winter  Oh...and a refrigerator

Did they ban the Bikes??

Camaro4Life 08-14-2008 10:55 PM

No it's N. Myrtle Beach area / Little River. No on the bike ban. It's all :bs:bs. They can't stop anyone from coming to the beach, Just a bunch of cry babies and retired people trying to turn Myrtle beach into "Palm Springs retirement community":lol:

:willy::willy: True.. But it's just the wife and I, don't need a big yard/driveway + not much grass to cut!:D

Camaro4Life 08-14-2008 11:01 PM

With some confidence, you can get her to OK the expansion. There is always a need for more garage space. All car guys agree.

mutau95 08-14-2008 11:26 PM

Is that garage easily removable since it is a steel building set-up? I would imagine that it would kill the resale potential sticking out so far...looks kind of odd.

Very spartan...but nice contents!

C-INRED 08-14-2008 11:56 PM

Your setback rules are not like ours...we can't be any closer than 25' to the front lot line.

I'm sure it's nice to have the extra space.

Built the house 19 years ago and don't plan on going anywhere!(will be paid off soon) Just 2 of us and the house has 2200 heated square feet, so we don't need anymore room. As for the back garage, it is 14x26 with plenty of room to drive to and from it (see I have my "company" car parked on the side) so the rear garage is pretty good size. I don't believe any man can have to much garage space!!!

HOA's are :bs:bs The idea is good, but most HOA's get out of hand and try to control peoples lives with BS rules and regulations. It's my property! I paid for it! and like my vette...I will do as I please, No HOA is going to tell me I can't fly an American flag or even favorite sports team flag, in front of my house!!! (Notice USC Gamecock flag) Wow..I feel better.:crazy::rofl:

NXTFAZE 08-15-2008 09:31 AM

Nice cars and nice garage! Looks good!

freyke 08-15-2008 09:33 AM

Wow!

It's nice from a car guy perspective. The "zoning police" would be freaking out if I did that around here.
