When are they going to get it fixed?

I would say 90% of the posts I now read have to be adjusted left to view, are any of you also having this problem?

Hitch 08-18-2008 11:52 PM

Oh yea.. The mods don't like us pointing out that there are problems with the forum. It's like if no one talks about it, it will fix itself and go away

Yup, same problem in addition to not being able to access the archieves (which is really a loss) & the forum access is SLOW!!

That might be a browser setting that's just not working with the new software...I dont have that problem at all.

Yes, more scrolling right and left to read posts. Searching slow and many things I know were there do not seem to be. It would be nice if they would have a known issues list posted with a status, that is a normal user support process during system changes. Log issue and then technical folks and management prioritize them to be addressed. It greatly reduces complaints and lets everyone be better informed. Just a thought.

Grey Ghost 08-19-2008 07:52 PM

Slow and scrolling has turned into a daily thang

Bill Irwin 08-19-2008 08:03 PM

Also, the dats and times are not right. I posted the thread yesterday in the early afternoon. ;) Things will get better. Bill.;)

It's like I'm back using WEB TV again.

In the past two days the forum has crashed twice while I was attempting to post messages. Not fun.

Seems to be working OK now, although still slow.

More bad news...:toetap:

I've just noticed a problem with my subscribed threads. About 80 deleted thread subscribtions have reappeared on my list, bringing my total up to 125. :smash:

Also, I haven't been getting email notifications for my subscribed threads. :nono:

I hope this stuff gets fixed soon...

bigredbrad 08-20-2008 12:07 AM

Until all this :bs gets fixed, I am using google for my parts searches. Sorry Vendors, I bought $230 parts from another Corvette source today because I didnt want to wait 5 minutes while the pages load. I hope you vendors are getting a discount on your advertising prices right now because you sure arent getting your moneys worth.

(be prepared for the thread to be locked because the mods dont want any of this type of chatter on the regular boards...):nono:

I think I'm about to say goodbye.

BADBIRDCAGE 08-20-2008 06:36 AM

As of 06:35 normalcy has returned to operation of the Forum.

Thanks

Isn't it amazing that none of these postings needed scrolling? What happened?

Plastic Pig 08-20-2008 11:50 AM

I've got to say. I just don't understand all the belly achin' here. This is a free forum that has worked perfect 95% of the time for what 9 years or so. You guys are like the welfare mom I saw on TV. She must have weighed 450 lbs and was complaining the welfare check doesn't give her enough to buy meat....What exactly do you expect for free ? How can you complain about the performance of a free forum ? :willy:Of course vendors are a completely different story.

Every time there is an upgrade this stuff happens for a few days while they sort it out and then it goes back to normal. Just be glad they didn't accidentally delete some of you during the change like they did in '99

Shurshot 08-20-2008 12:04 PM

Hopefully my CD from Wilcox Corvette will show up today since the faq are for the moment hard to find

Been so long since I took it apart I need some picture help with some things
