Corvette/Cobra/Block-Head run Sat 9-6, San Diego
Greetings Varmits & Block-Heads!
This run will be our first combo run and it`s going to be a BIG one! All years of Corvettes and Shelby AC Cobras welcome! Time: Ealybirds start arriving around 7:45am Sat 9-6, run starts around 8:30 Place: 2245 Fenton Parkway (Starbuck`s pkg lot) San Diego, Ca. (Fenton Plaza off Friar`s Rd, 1mi west of Qualcomm stadium) Fyi - There is a Cost Co gas station on the N.E. Corner of the plaza! The Run: A great mix of San Diego`s famous mountain, canyon and country roads. Lunch: At the Santa Ysabel Casino overlooking Lake Henshaw and Palomar Mtn! I believe there is one about 1/2 mile west of the stadium on Friars Rd. Close to the 163 off ramp. If Cosco works for you there is one in the parking lot where we will be meeting

Looks like the closest one is a little beyond the IKEA parking lot at Fenton. 2290 Camino Del Rio North (as in north side of the highway) San Diego CA. It's located on I-8 between highways 163 and 805. The turnoff is Texas St./Qualcomm way. You want to go Qualcomm which is north, Texas is south. location on mapquest Edit: Chevron Link doesn't work anymore. |
