From the attached dyno sheet and video, you can see this car makes 270 RWHP/ 316 RWTQ. (@ 90 deg F ambient) The A/F ratio is a very safe 12:1, so there is power to be gained with some fuel/spark tuning . I built the car to be a reliable, high performing street car, and it is. It sounds awesome, is fast and handles awesome. It could easily be a serious Auto-X or weekend road course car.

I'm asking $8,900, which includes all the original parts (wheels, tires, intake, runners. plenum, throttle body, exh manifolds, heads, cam, lifters, Bose radio and speakers) and a car cover. If you have any questions, ask. I check my PM's regularly or e-mail raymond.drake92@gmail.com

Here's a bump from a fellow Virginia silver Vette guy.

That's a darn good looking 'Vette. Silver with red guts... Where have I seen that combo before????

tomcat-pilot 10-08-2008 04:45 PM

Reduced price. No one wants a beautiful low miles car with these mods at this price?

Y-ME 10-08-2008 05:15 PM

Kudos for leaving the air pump on, makes emissions easier.

pologreen1 10-09-2008 12:57 AM

Air pump and system are all functional minus the tube that goes down to the cat ( didn't fit well with the long tube headers). Easy enough to run a braided line down, however. I opted not to - VA has no emissions testing.

Yes - the were all sanded down and painted to match. I used a hi temp metallic silver from the local auto parts store that matched closely to the original valve cover color. Testors model paint is key for touching up the corvette emblem.

Price reduced to $8,900. Yes, I realize the market is slow, but think about all the money you would spend to bring a stock C4 to this level. If you pick up a pristine low mile 85 for $6-7k and want to do get it to this level, you are going to put a minimum of $7-10k into it. $8,900 is a bargain.

Relic 10-24-2008 05:56 PM

Too bad you seem to be in a hurry. It's a great deal. If I didn't have one, I'd buy it in a second. How soon do you have to sell it? I'm 1/2 tempted to buy it and just sell mine. :)

tomcat-pilot 10-25-2008 01:38 PM

I'm not in a major rush - I don't have to sell the car, it would just be easier to move without it.

Relic 10-25-2008 01:48 PM

How soon are you moving?
270 rwhp, that translates to what about 330 chp?
Any idea what it would turn in the 1/4?

I've been looking at C5s, I have an unmodded 87, but this car is a heck of a deal.

Using approx 15% driveline loss, you're looking at 320 hp at the crank. Have not run it in the 1/4, so I'd only be guessing.

parsecnc4 11-06-2008 04:53 AM

Absolute bargain. Too bad you are way across in the East Coast.

cmashark 11-06-2008 08:02 PM

Damn, I hope I find a deal like this in the spring! Sweet car. I believe I have seen your car at the Oceana hobby shop before....

Yes - I use the hobby shop there for all my regular maintenance.

Would you take $ 7,500 for this car? If so I will pick it up next weekend.

Best sent in a PM. That might be a "low ball" offer and potential insult.
