Mini ram VS. Modified LT1 intake

Currently I have a Modified LT1 intake on my 406 that is opened up to a 1205 intake port. I have an opportunity to purchase a 1205 Mini ram for a reasonable amount. Does anyone know if the Mini ram will support more HP then the LT1 intake in high (+500) HP application? I would be willing to switch to the Mini ram if it had more potential.

Current engine is in my sig.

Thanks

It would work well with that cam/heads combo. Would I personally go through the trouble? No. You'll only make a small peak amount of power more, and lose torque under 4k. Unless you plan on taking it to the track a lot more often, I'd leave well enough alone.

I guess I answered my own question. I decided to call TPIS (they work on both cars) and ask their opinion on the question. In there opinion a car like mine will pick up approximately 15 hp over the LT1 intake. The Mini ram has bigger runners and more plenium volume, so it will support more upper RPM power. He faxed me a dyno sheet of a 402 LT1 engine that made 552 HP with the LT1 intake and 569 HP with the LT1 mini ram. He said the power increase was due to the higher flowing mini ram intake.

FYI= I did not know that TPIS had mini ram intakes for the LT1 engine.
