1959 Corvette Carburetor?
Hey Guys,
This is a carburetor that came off of a 1959 corvette engine that i had years ago. Is this actually a 1959 corvette carburetor or what? http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...r/PB030007.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...r/PB030008.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...r/PB030009.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...r/PB030010.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...r/PB030011.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...r/PB030012.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...r/PB030013.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...r/PB030006.jpg |

I knew it was a rochester, but i did not know if it came on a 1959. Anyody have a guess what it may have been off of?

Since it has a center fuel inlet (definately NOT Corvette), my guess is a mid 60's Olds, Buick, Pontiac or Caddy.

This is unreal!! I have exactly same carburator on my 59 corvette!!
I wonder could it be "general replacement" carb back in old days ?? |

No. That's a Rochester 4jet. The 59 should have had a Carter WCFB.

My 65 and 66 Chevelles used those carbs 283/220 hp.
