Lt4 engine...whole car for parts 1500!!!
 

That's right, first person to show up at my door with 1500 bucks gets the whole thing.

okay ill try again... wrecked 1996 torch/torch coupe...originally an lt1 car, put lt4 engine in front of the auto 2 years ago..and documented it here on the forum.

i wrecked on nov 1 and it is totalled... i will sign it over to the wrecker company if i cant get 1500 for it.

the motor does not look like it was hurt...all glass is broken...all wheels bent or broken...some parts are salvageable...id rather sell it to someone here who can put it in their yard and do whatever with it than to give it to the wrecker yard.

Please don't call to lowball me... if i can't get 1500 to pay for the storage and put a little money back in my pocket, then i will just sign it over to them.

the number is 1500 firm...and it goes up by 20 dollars per day from the writing of this post...

I hope this can help someone else out..the motor has about 50k miles on it as i bought it with 38k...the car was garage kept and has approx 94k miles on it.

need to make a decision fast....genuine lt4 engine..not a top end kit. also, motor has a hot cam installed.

the only thing i want form the car is the seat covers, and the radio, amp and speakers...period.

is a photo eazy to do. Is there frame damage . I assume yes.

i assume frame damage...photo is not easy for me as i don't really want to see the car again until it is gone..

dont know if the compressor made it but from what i remember when i looked at it the motor wasn't touched. the computer was sitting on top of the motor and the battery was dangling so it was hit p;retty hard on that side..

guys, no disrespect, but i don't want to dicker, or even much want to talk about this...i am sick to my stomach over the whole thing.


i dont have pics, but i am sure there is 1500 in parts alone....please don't even think about fixing the casr...it had a salvage title because it was bumped in the front when i bought it over 9 years ago.and i put a new front cap on it...never even had to have it aligned afterward..as there was no frame damage...i can't say that now though sadly, i don not know the extent of the damage...just that it looks horrible to me.

the car is sitting in the wrecker yard and i had about 3 minutes to make an the general impression...it wasn't good. i wish i had a place to take out the motor and tranny and i would just look for something to put it into and let her live on...sadly i live in a subdivision that discourages such things...


anyway.. hurry up guys..you wont find an lt4 motor alone for this price...i promise you that.

so as far as i know, so for all i know, the car has been spoken for.
