I guess I cant complain too much about our record but the past 10 games have been awful..:(:bs
No energy , no D , No entensity and most importantly no heart..:nono:
We have the talent to do it but we need the heart to beleive in it..
Btw I hate the fact the Phil is starting Puke Walton again , yeah great thinking phil benching our best 3 point shooter in Vlad...:smash:

Going to the Christmas game versus the Celtics because my brother decided to buy tickets as a present this year.

Afer a very nice start, it's looking similar to last year. Why can't the Lakers stop the pick and roll? If their defense doesn't improve and become consistent, it might be a reply of last season.

They have the players they need to win it all, right now they are playing lazy, no D, and no desire. If they keep this up.......well I don't want to think about it:willy:

You know ....The pick and rolls they run on us all day kill us ...
Defense dosent require alot of talent but rather alof of DESIRE..
You've gotta want to play defense and the thing thats so alarming is that all of the sudden we just dont defend anymore..
Its all dedication on defense and thats why the Celtics no matter how bad their offense is they are compititive cause of their defense..:leaving:

Back in the 80's, Pat Riley's bulletin borad material throughout one of the seasons was "No Rebounds, No Defense, No Rings". That still holds true today.

Well if the Lakers plan on beating Boston they better play like it's the post season and bring their A game, I hope they do.

Well, we really needed these last two wins. They looked ok against Memphis then they looked really good (for most of game) against New Orleans. Hopefully this means theyll look great against Boston. Defense picked up, offens got going. They played smarter, got in their halfcourt offense and patient on defense plus LESS TURNOVERS! Well, guess we'll find out tomorrow. I got a good feeling though. Ok, a little nervous. Lets go LAKERS!:cheers:

-Might be time to start Odom, Bynum, Gasol, Kobe & D Fish - this was what we were all expecting and looking forward to this year... I'm a huge fan but also a realist: they're playing like last year, and if certain players (Odom, Bynum & Farmar - well, he'll be quiet for a while trying to recoup from surgery) will just stop complaining about their time on the court and focus on defense, they just might pull off a X-mas day massacre and even bring home the championship next year! I'm betting against the lakers today, and I'm a huge fan. Celtics are more poised and focused with less talent. Bynum has GOT to become a monster if they are going to start winning championships. He needs to become the beast like the time shaq pushed him around.

Come on Lakers, let's give these Celts a beat down today!
