The part about no door dings (dents) is very tempting to want to grab this bargain before someone else does. I guess he did not make to many trips to Wal- Mart or other shopping Malls with this 54.

What is strange is the 525 positive feedbacks for the seller. All for jewelry. Wonder if his account was hacked?

tentuna 02-15-2009 08:52 AM

Does this guy think anyone with any sense, will fall for this or is he just and idiot.
:willy:

Seems to be a lot of palm trees in the background area for Michigan. ;)

Has to be a pretty stupid scumbag at that.

Maybe set a buy it now price of 35K with 5K deposit and you might have a chance. But 5K, come on. Wait till his daddy finds out :)

Definitely hacked. Question to seller was "can I pick it up?" Answer was "I don't sell cars..."

Listing is now gone.

Oh terrific, looks like I'll now be spending that $5,000 on jewelry!

Yep, my account was hacked a couple of years ago. Scammers posted fake auctions with my ID and good feedback.

I think ebay has major security flaws that are never publicized. That is the MAIN reason, I never opened a paypal account.

I took my '55 to Costco two weeks ago, first time I ever parked and left it unattended... There is a Walmart across the highway, so does that qualify? I won't make a habit of parking and leaving it, but I do run the kids around in it for their stuff... We have an exchange student from Spain living with us, he LOVES riding in the '55. Every time we go out in it, he takes a picture of himself riding in it and emails it back home to friends and family.

I have taken my Corvette to the Mall once with my wife and stayed in it and parked away from everyone else. Once or twice I took it to the food store and ran and and came out real quick. Both times very nervous. You have no idea what crazes are in those Malls. I have had other cars marred up in those lots. Your a brave soul to take a 55 to such places. Did I mention I drive a 84 Crossfire.

I am pleased to say that I drove my '66 coupe to Wal-Mart this afternoon and aside from some othe purchases I placed a 44 lb. bag of dog food in the rear luggage compartment. I knew that this loud-ass thing could be practical !
