General Exclaim UHP tires.. 19/20" Amazing deals

Im looking at new tires 275/30/19 and 305/30/20 on 9.5 wide front rim and 11 wide rear rim. The best priced and best reviewed tires with a UTOG of 380 are general Exclaim UHP tires. Can get all 4 for just over $800 shipped to my door. Install myself. Anyone have experience with these tires? At tire rack they get amazing reviews w/ W speed rating and C6Z owner loves them better than stock F1s.. Might pull the trigger unless someone convinces me otherwise. Or knows of better tires around same price range. Thanks guys

They are amazing tires for the money. We run a set of 19s on our Z4.

Ya been doing some research and for a Dailr driver 8 months out of the year with a few drag possible once or twice autocross.. i think these may be the way to go! Might order them tomorrow. Thanks

My top 3 fav bang for the buck daily driving tires (not sure if they all offer 19/20)...

General Exclaim UHP
Vredestein Sessanta (hard to find)
Kumho MX

Well I have heard the exact opposite on those tires. They have a high tread rating cause they have no grip. Usually cheap tires are just that.

:iagree: A treadwear of 380 doesn't say 'sticky' to me.

Whats the biggest size i can put on the rear wheels without fitment issues or sticking out? Would I be better off with 305 30 20 or 325 25 20? i would like to have a 300+ tire out back.

THE TECH 03-04-2009 10:33 AM

I'm running a 305/19". I don't think a 325 will fit under the stock quarter panels.

The only tire i can find for 305 30 is the Toyo T1R.

Check 305/35/20. There are a few in that size.

I dont want them that tall.

You know that the difference between a 30 and 35 is 5mm or 0.197".

AFAIK, it's 5% of the tread witdth difference...thats 15.25 mm. about .6 inches.

The 30, as I remember, is 30% of the width. a 35 is 35% of the width...with the width being 305 mm in this case.

You are correct. The 305/30 would have an overall diameter of 27.21" and the 305/35 would be 28.41" which is a difference of 1.21" overall.

Unfortunately, you don't have a ton of tire choices though.
