That looks cool but I would call it a '63 not a '66. Unless the 66 stands for something else.

Calderone 03-18-2009 09:26 AM

It does stand for something else.-

floridamale 03-18-2009 10:36 AM

Nice but you still need a C6 to do this. Not sure how many people will offer up there car to have it done.

That's not a body kit :smash:

floridamale 03-18-2009 02:49 PM

I’m sorry but I read this as a body kit a nice one, but a body kit. They use the entire C6 running gear and chaise and they say in there information they “designed an entirely new body engineered specifically for that platform” based on the 63 Split Window Corvette. As of right now they use the C6 interior as well, but plan to offer trim options in the future. NOT trying to split hairs, I’m sure it’s a great car looks like it is but all they have changed are body panels.

Not to steal this thread but aren’t dream cars the best, however its easier to make them look out of this world on the drawing board then on the street.
“Ugur Sahin is hoping for a production version of this design. Sahin has come up with a new concept, this time based on a Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Unlike the Dino, Sahin is hoping to actually build this car with a production run of 100, Dubbed the Z03, this concept features full carbon fiber bodywork and design cues from the C3 Corvette and a Ferrari 599 GTB. Performance will be a focus as well, with 100 pounds shaved off the car's overall weight, and three engine packages available from 500 to 750 horsepower”
