I'm hoping my flight school schedule allows me to catch some of the show this weekend. The first Le Mans I can watch the Vettes and then go hop into my own.

Well for those who might be out and about this weekend, you will still be able to follow Le Mans as RLM will also be on Sirius/XM:
Radio Show Limited, the team behind Radio Le Mans, has extended the reach of the iconic station with a ground-breaking agreement to air Le Mans race coverage, live, on the US satellite platform, Sirius XM Radio. As RSL Managing Director Eve Hewitt explains, the American audience is an important one. “We have always enjoyed great support from US-based enthusiasts, now they can keep up with the race without being tied to their computer. During race week last year, almost half of the 1.92 Million visitors to radiolemans.com were from the USA.” Many listeners are using new technology such as PDAs and Internet equipped telephones to ‘tune in’ to the RSL broadcasts from Le Mans and other motorsports events. However, Carl Landsbert, RSL Technical Director, believes that satellite radio is the perfect partner to the 24 Hours. “Le Mans racing is the pinnacle of technology and the endurance factor means it’s a test for the fans as well as the teams in France. Sirius XM is giving all race fans the chance to take this famous race with them as they head out and about at the weekend. The Sirius XM coverage sets them free from Internet devices.” So how will the American listeners react to the very British institution that is Radio Le Mans? Eve Hewitt thinks that the audience will appreciate the emotion and insight that the team in France brings to the race. “Passion and enthusiasm are the cornerstones of the Sirius XM listening experience, whether that’s for music, sport or special events, they put listeners right at the heart of the event. This is exactly what Radio Show Limited does at Le Mans and other venues. Our partnership with Sirius XM Radio gives our broadcasts a fantastic platform in the USA.” The 18.6 million Sirius XM subscribers have been introduced to World-Class sports car racing with the Radio Show Limited coverage of the American Le Mans Series but this will be the first time that the whole 24 Hours of Le Mans will be available to such a large audience in the USA. The Sirius XM Radio coverage, on XM channel 243 and Sirius 113 and 126, begins on Wednesday afternoon CET with a special Le Mans Edition of Midweek Motorsport and will take in the free practice and qualifying for the 24 Hours as well as qualifying for the classic sports car support race.
