Buyer and Seller Feedback

I am going to start this thread because i think if all Buying and Selling feedback results were listed here it would be much easier to see how all the dealings with one another work out.

Anytime anyone question's someone before sending payment or posting and item sold they could do a search here and see how that Members transactions have ended. We can find out whether (timely Payment was made or Lack thereof) or (Parts received or not received or as in condition as sold). Posting on whether or not Payment is received is just as important to Sellers as Parts are to Buyers. I also feel it would help curtail those that may say i will take it and never actually complete the transaction which would make it easier for a seller to get a part actually sold to someone who is a serious buyer resulting in completed transactions.

1.All resolutions or problems should be dealt with thru pm's prior to posting negative feedback here.

2. Any new topic added here should be a new topic title with the Buyer or Sellers user name only. ( This way it will truly be an internal member policed Feedback Thread for all of our protection)

3. The contents of the post should be the actual rating for the user name Good or Bad (Providing resolution thru PM's have been attempted) and no PROFANITY!

4. Posting on whether or not Payment is received as promised is just as important to Sellers as Parts being received are to Buyers

5. The post should be limited to Buying and Selling feedback ONLY to keep the thread from being junked up with Chit Chat, in hopes of it becoming a Sticky? If not if everyone uses this thread it should stay near or at the top!

I've been thinking of the same thing since so many good people on here have been scammed lately. We have to do something to protect our selfs and our hard earned $$$$!! Maybe a voluntary feedback rating like Ebay's added to our profile??? Thanks for stepping up dry !!

Excellent dealings with joe3906 on a set of long tube ECM coated headers for lt1. Fast shipping, package up perfectly and great communications!! Would buy from again!

I think this is a good idea!

The later generation 'vette sections already have a similar type thread in their F/S sections...but it is hard to go through and read the whole thread to find a specific buyer/seller information....a quick reference spread sheet type setup might make it more user friendly....kinda like the "official time slip thread" format.

:iagree: with all the postive comments so far...I've bought stuff from most of the CF members mentioned above. All the parts/dealings were very positive and I wouldn't hesitate to do another deal with any of them in the future.

'peabay' sale method was a flawed concept at inception, why repeat it ?...scammers have no interest in car parts, they want $, simple/logical way to stop scammers would be to require forum sellers to send parts prior to buyer sending $.

I dont believe that would work, then you would have scammers stealing parts.
