What's this? pics

Its a C5 with new panels. I don't remember who makes the conversion though. IMO the front clip looks good but the height of the sides looks bad. The sides look sort of like the new Charger.

One of the conversions by a place on the west coast (Wash, or Ore). They use a C-5 as a base. You can get the car as shown and even a
'62. I saw one of he '62 conversions and its top quality. Can't tell at all it wasn't originally built that way. Cost is around $75k plus you supply the C-5. |
Here it is....take a look:http://www.67c5.com/index.html:cheers:

Sorry,2009
These are going into production in the midwest and are being built on a new chassis. This one was a new 2009 with 0 miles. Not affiliated with the 62 version.

Not from that link either.

FUGLY as hell!

Reminds me of the saying, "Imitation is the best complement."
|
Looks like a "kit car."

Give me a Break
:ack::ack::ack:
I saw something similar to this last year expect it was made to look like a 1962 Corvette. Come on if you want a 1967 Corvette go BUY a 1967 Corvette..Looks like a P.O.S. :ack: |
So what about the guy that likes the look of a 67 vette but doesn't want to have to have a mechanic on payroll or try and figure out why his car runs hot, or doesn't want to put miles on his "numbers Matching " motor or maybe his wife doesn't like to ride in a car that boils her feet on a hot summer day? Any of you guys use your 67's as daily drivers? I believe there is a place for this car in the corvette world.
Maybe I should post this over on the C6 side and see what the reaction is. |
Hi Andy!
It looks ok but the front end just looks too short or something. Are you getting ready for this years show???? |

Chill dude  I don't think it's that good looking either but some will buy into it. Personally, I can't feel anything for a replica which is stealing a classic form from someone else who designed this stuff with his hands and not a computer. |
Yes. August 8th. Last years(1st year) car count on the grounds was 240 or so. We are hoping for a minimum of 500, but I could see there being close to 800, maybe 1000. Word has spread of the collection/show (on the golf course) and the great atmosphere here. Getting a framed photograph of you and your car just for entering doesn't hurt either.
Last year I think there were 3000 or so that went thru the collection and the show cars, I could see that going to 7 or 8 thousand.I am taking the above car and a 69 Yenko and heading a couple of hours in each direction to attend shows and hand out flyers. Seems as though most of the Iowa corvette clubs have already been here on privately arranged tours. Maybe someone will chime in and tell us what they thought of the collection. |

Soon to come a 63 split window version.

Not a huge fan but it looks good. I like it alot more than that conversion for the C5 to make it look like a 57 Bel Air.
