My 1985 vette
 
Hey guys Ive been poking around on here getting my car done and ready for the road agian and be my dd vechile. It had been setting in the old owners garage for years . I paid $1000 for it and have put about $800 into it getting a new cat back exhaust, tune up, ac comperssor etc. This is my first vette and im 18. I wanna get it painted its getin a lil dull and some zr1 wheels and a new top this ones cracked of course. But first I wanted to see what yall think of it. thnks:flag:

It looks pretty clean for sitting for years. $1000 looks like a steal.

Don't forget the fuel filter (passanger side inside rail) as part of your tune up.

Keep the wheels on the ground. If you want to see how fast it will go....take it to the track not some backroad. Want to race....take it to the track. Too many have suffered tragic accidents in Corvettes and other cars because they did not think. Please don't be one of them.

The 85 may be a little old, but it will still move out and looks good even today! :thumbs:

I had to change eveything fuel related on this car already exept the injectors thank god lol. The old fuel filter I pulled had like brown rocks in it lmao and the fuel pump didnt have a stranier :leaving:

nice looking car, great price for any car thats running; let alone a classic vette. BTW, I think your wheels are on backwards (or mine are)!

flynn, you're absolutely right! my wheels are like his-backwards when I got the car. getting them changed around hopefully next weekend but keeping the tires in the same order of course...good spotting!
