looks perfect. I'm not a fan of that car though. I would love to see 20/21 setup on a viper.

Love the look, that car is amazing with those wheels.

I was concerned when I saw 20/21, but figured they might balance pretty well on a 599. Sure enough, that's stunning!

Is the rear tire really a 375 or is that a typo? Doesn't look that wide (and the wheel is 12.5", figured you'd need wider wheel)?

EVIL_C5 07-07-2009 08:25 PM

damn that is HOT!

TrueBlueConvert 07-07-2009 10:30 PM

wow

Yes sir.. its a Pirelli PZero Nero 375/20/21. Its meant to go on 12.5-14 wheels... its a slab of rubber!

Thanks for the compliments guys!!

Love the car, don't really care for the slammed look on it though.

You guys should see what we did on a C6Z06 with the same set up...20/21 with the 375/20/21 rear tire.

lionsfan5454 07-09-2009 01:24 PM

It's stunning, but I can't imagine taking it on the street being that low.

corvette-wheels.com 03-01-2010 10:29 AM

We contacted Pirelli today to verify the specs on their Pzero Nero 375/20-21 tire, and although a tire calculator will tell you that it "should" have a 14.74" tread width, it doesn't. they said they are NOT supposed to be on ANY wheel wider than 13"!!!!

It is very deceiving, so we put a recommendation into their suggestion box, saying that they should either change their size to a 345-355/20-21 (correct sizing), put a disclaimer on their website, and/or at the very least, put the actual specs on their website, so people stop "assuming" they are really 375mm and stretching them onto 13.5"+ wheels as this can be unsafe! Let's see if they say/do anything about this moving forward...

This is a BS marketing gimmick if you ask me... in the meantime, Kumho Ecsta SPT's come in a 375/20-21 and they fit up to 14.5" (as a 375/20-21 should!) Not the stickiest tire in the world, but plenty of contact patch/meat for anyone wanting a HUGE, cheap tire! (Currently back ordered, but $249 ea. when they are available)
