High Mileage Z's: whos got the most??

Just curious to see whos got the most miles on their DD Z's.

dmuellenberg 07-14-2009 10:40 PM

37,500 on my 06 Z.

g-townmach 07-14-2009 11:04 PM

nice.. any repairs or issues during those 37,500 miles?

reason i'm asking is b/c i've found two high mile Z's at reeeeal good prices but don't know what kinda shape they'd be in.

dwiemers 07-14-2009 11:11 PM

I'd be interested too....I'm daily driving mine...sure someone will chime in with a good amount of mileage....

Holy crap! I thought I was doing pretty well with 44k on my 2007 but to have twice that is impressive.

07 Z. 1800 mile trip home from the museum and 32,000 as a daily driver through cross-town traffic. At 4200, I got an engine code and went into limp mode. Limped home. Next morning, it ran fine. A dealer read the code, gave me a report but couldn't duplicate the problem. At 32,000, the passenger window lost its position calibration and wouldn't roll down when opening the door. Dealer updated calibration on both doors (service bulletin). This thing can have a heck of a lot more problems and I would still consider it to be, by far, the best car I have ever owned.

77,000 miles. Very few issues. Z still feels as solid as new. Had a 4 wheel alignment done. Was right on factory specs.
Forgot to mention its an 06

Anybody have or hear of a Z06 hitting 100,000 miles yet? That'd be a lot of driving but there has to be at least one.

BAD_TCR 07-15-2009 05:07 PM

I have an 09 with 14k miles, she's on the right pace... :-)

EXCELR8 07-15-2009 07:31 PM

2007 - 34,000 miles. Lots of mods and zero problems, well maybe a few tickets, does that count?

g-townmach 07-15-2009 07:49 PM

Wow, some of you guys are up there. And its comforting to hear that with a good amount of miles your Z's still hold up pretty good. Keep the #'s coming b/c i bet someone out theres got 100k. That'd be nuts.

why? because you've read the same thread we all did about LS7 taking a caca? which is basically something like 0.2 percent of the entire Z06 production since 06?...c'mon man:thumbs: cheer up, many of them will be fine for thousand of miles...

ok on a lighter note, in regards to the one gentlemen talking about the indexing issue, you know you can do that yourself right? I believe the manual tells it how to do it...so that shouldn't really "count" as a problem

oh and 08, with 2600 ish miles...daily driven, puting about 10k miles a year at the present rate...no problems thus far:thumbs:
