Did this back in early June, finally going to the body shop next week. She'll get the white glove treatment and be good as new. No injuries thankfully. "HAD" a perfect driving record until this :ack:.

Holy Cow Jason:eek:

I hope you were ok

What happened?

I have to ask....did the bezel survive:willy:

canecorso69 07-26-2009 02:00 PM

Holy smokes.

DRKMATTER 07-26-2009 02:01 PM

Hey Dennis...no injuries except to my bank account :ack:. The bezel wasn't installed...actually I'm going to take this opportunity to finally get it finished the way I wanted to with the gauges while it's in the shop. Still haven't forgot to get you pics when it's done.

So that's the "murdered out" look I've been hearing so much about.

Looked perfect before, I would have left it alone.

Thalomos 07-26-2009 02:07 PM

What did you hit? Or what hit you?

bahn112 07-26-2009 02:11 PM

I went UNDER the rear of a Honda SUV. His car was resting on my windshield. Absoultley no engine damage, having the frame meticulously check out next week and the process of putting humpty dumpty back together again will commence.

BTW, no airbag deployment or seatbelt lockout on the C5 :willy:

Cozmo 07-26-2009 02:43 PM

:ack:

Glad you are OK. :blueangel:

Good luck getting the car back to the way it was before.

SoSlow1 07-26-2009 02:52 PM

olbear1962 07-26-2009 02:55 PM

Holy crumpled vette Batman!!!!
Am glad you are OK,
What a shame, your vette in the before pics was AWESOME.
Best wishes for the repairs..

ajg1915 07-26-2009 03:20 PM

Do you have a coupe or a FRC ? Looks like the drivers "A" member is bent some.

Lots of cosmetic damage :ack:, does not look to be too bad if "A" member is not bent. On a FRC, the roof would have to come off :ack:

black98c5 07-26-2009 03:22 PM

That sucks! :ack: At least you were not injured. Good luck with the repairs.

dragon84 07-26-2009 03:31 PM

jrose7004 07-26-2009 03:35 PM

Dude, hope you and the other driver came out OK. Car looks very repairable although it would tear me up inside to see my baby looking like that. Best wishes on the rebuild and keep us posted.
