why no wave?
Has anyone noticed that c6 people don't wave? Just about every time I take my 64 coupe out I see a couple c6's . Sometimes they look but never has one waved back. I think this is when the Gov. should step in and take their car and give it to someone that really loves the corvette. These are the people that take them to the car wash every two weeks weather it needs cleaning or not. They will not read this because they don't even know that corveete forum exsist. If you know someone like this please let them know it is their duty to keep the wave.

I don't get bent out of shape about it, but I still do see alot of waves around my area.
|
Not every one..............
I've got both a C-2 and a C-6, and I always wave both ways!
 |
I get waves from all generations. My assumption would be that a few of the C6 owners are more sports car enthusiasts vs. Corvette enthusiasts, hence the lack of knowledge on "save the wave" I never take it personally, I just keep the wave alive.

maybe they don't like u?

If you're feeling lonely and insecure, buy a Harley. We all wave at each other, doesn't matter what model it is.:D
The ricer bikers don't wave. Maybe that is because they apppear to be doing handstands with their rear end up in the air. |

I might have plenty of reasons You are driving a 64. They do not know what a C2 looks like. They have stubby arms and fingers. The window does not roll up and pushing the power window button is too hard. They might think you want to join their C6 club. Maybe they think you will not see the wave because you are too old, senile and have cateracts. Or maybe they just do not give a sh%$! I am only kidding around... |
i think there was a thread a while ago where it was opined that C6'ers could be identified by their gold neck chains. well, maybe they are also weighted down with gold wrist candy (bracelets, Rolexes, rings, etc) and they just can't lift their arms to wave.. they wanta, just can't....
 Bill |
No c6 wavs at me because most dont know what I'am driving :iagree::ack:

I get a kick out of it when you wave and you can tell they're trying to figure out why or trying to figure out if they know you. No big deal though the people that wave get it and the ones that don't, don't.

I have an '09 C6. I had a '61 (although a VERY long time ago). I don't own any gold chains, and I can't afford a Rolex. I wave. :seeya :jester ;)

A fair amount of the C6 guys and girls wave at me (or give a thumbs up) but almost all of the other old cars including "non muscle cars" wave.............and I always wave back.

:leaving: I noticed I get that one more often than not when I cut someone off. |
I did a cruise last week with 3 C6's. The owners were horrified that I regularly smoke the tires.......... But everyone did wave along the way.
