Race Proven Motorsports 9.46@143 STOCK LS7!!!

We installed a 4l80E in a customers car from Quebec. The car ran a best of 9.9 at 143 before when it was a 6 speed once. It was consistant 10.0 car. It had a Vararam, Twin Disc clutch and a 185 shot.

We installed an RPM 4L80E Swap, Qa1 Shocks and a CCW Drag Pac and he added Headers and bumped it to a 200 shot. I couldnt beleive when i heard what he ran.

9.46@143.8 mph
6.05 @ 114.1
1.32 60'

This was also the first time out. Alittle more tuning and i think it can go 9.2-9.3

We are talking about adding a cam and trying to get into the 8's on a STOCK besides cam LS7

Nice job as usual Fran. ( but I'm not sure you should be using the word Stock)

 A 427 LS7 with headers and a 200 shot and an auto , in a light C6Z running 9.40's is pretty much running at it's max potential and impressive , but an LS7 427 is no joke even with " stock " heads and cam .

The C6Z is a great building block for a low 9/high 8 second car , but when you add up the price of the car plus some form of forced induction an auto trans conversion it's still big bucks , but at least the prices on used ones continue to drop , and a nitrous kit is definitely the cheapest way to run a big number .

Thanks guys. Im VERY suprised with how fast it went.

Final number last week, with the same rich tune, low timing:

1.32 60'
5.97 @ 116 mp/h 1/8
9.34@ 143.8 mp/h

Rich afr and low timing hurt the 1/4 mp/h. Better time to come stay tune.

Later,
Sébastien
