Sounds about right.

Sounds pretty close, but I've seen them for around 900 buy it now on ebay. Might stalk the site for a few days before pulling the trigger. It might save you a couple benjamins.

:iagree: I've been watching a few auctions and the OP's pricing is about right but I've seen them around $900 + a couple of times.

Npp ebay

I purchased a set at the $1000 price. They were pretty much as new.
They were well packed.
No problems other than the roar on the inside of the car when it is lugged down even in the quiet mode

This is where my friend got them, less than 50 miles on them and they come with the vacuum system to operate, he recieved them and they were perfect

RohanZ51 10-28-2009 12:28 PM

Will they fit 2007 C6 MN6?
Anybody got a link to ebay page selling them?

If you have drone in quiet mode, you have a problem... You need to check to see that the flaps are closing all the way... Believe me... closed it sounds like stock, ZERO DRONE.

As for price.. when people here quote price, they are NOT figuring in the RETRO FIT wireles controller that come WITH the NPP... so the deal is good... I got mine there, very happy.

just search "NPP"

Top_Fuel 10-28-2009 01:04 PM

I've been watching that same seller on eBay with the NPP and wireless controller. Sounds like a lot of us are!

Just for a comparison, what would a good price be on a set of new NPP mufflers from a GM vendor?

bops90 10-28-2009 01:44 PM

Thanks for the replys,Im getting an ichy trigger finger

mdb917 10-28-2009 01:47 PM

My friend got a price of $1800 from the local dealer and $1300 from an online discounter and that is without the controller.

Hence WHY $1099 with the RETRO Controller is a GOOD DEAL... PS they sell them a lot, as they get take-offs, with low miles..

I purchased my 09 system from Sunset Orange Creations, a forum vendor, for 900 including his controller plus shipping. Shipping was extra, about $125. Ben was great to work with, very professional and I love the exhaust. BTW the 09 system only fits 09's. Good luck!

Greetings

If it includes the retro kit for vacuum it's a good deal. I installed them on both of my 2007 verts and I couldn't be happier with them.

Remember the 2009 and 2010 NPP muflers with not fit the 2005-2008, you must get the NPP mufflers from a 2008.

bops90 10-28-2009 05:32 PM

Well i bought a set on ebay with a small dime size dent in one tip for $500.00.I have a set of remote controls and rpi is hooking me up with just the electric & vacume for $155.00. So here we go not bad!!

AtHomeSoda 10-28-2009 05:37 PM

So...

You got a $444 dollar Dime size Dent?

I posted this morning to your other thread about WTB NPPs.

If I understand correctly, your '08, which you are planning to sell already has NPPs. If that is the case, why not just pull them and the X-pipe off the '08 and put them on the '07. Put the stock system on the '08. This way you will only have to buy the controller(NPP in a Box). When I was planning to buy NPPs for my '05 and knew nothing about them, I bought a Mild to Wild switch thinking it was all I needed. When I received it, I realized I had made a mistake so I didn't bother asking the forum member to take it back. I contacted the forum vendor who sells the "NPP in a Box" and upon me sending him the M-W switch, he sent me the "NPP in a Box" for I believe around $100.00.
If you have access to a lift and minimal mechanical abilities you can swap out the systems in 2 or 3 hours. Most muffler shops would probably do it for $100-200 because they change out mufflers every day.
If you do buy NPPs be sure they are from an '08 or they will not fit.
Also, ZO6 mufflers, although they are bi-modal, are completely different and are much quieter than NPPs. That is the reason they sell for about 1/3 to 1/2 of what used NPPs sell for on here.
I lucked up and bought my set of like new NPPs and '08 X-pipe for $710.00 shipped from a forum member a few months ago. I then added the NPP in a Box as described above.
